Mark Blomsteel & Robert Weston release new Christmas song:
Nobody Messes With Christmas (This Year)
Two Dutch artists with a hefty dose of Nashville experience, Mark Blomsteel and Robert Weston, reunite after their 2024 release Christmas In The Air with a brand-new and surprising Christmas single: “Nobody Messes With Christmas (This Year).”
The song was born in an unexpected place and time: right in the sweltering summer heat of Virginia, where the two writers found inspiration to create a totally different kind of Christmas song. The track was later recorded in Texas, where its unique sound truly came to life.
Blomsteel and Weston received artistic support from Rogier Brink (production) and Julia Hulshof (backing vocals) in the Netherlands.
Their mission: to write a Christmas song that stands apart from traditional ballads and nostalgic classics.
The result: a fresh, catchy, and cheerful track that promises to bring extra sparkle to the holiday season.
With this single, even The Grinch and Scrooge won’t stand a chance at ruining Christmas — not this year!
