Anniversary single Mark Blomsteel

5 time Dutch CMA award-winning, Nashville, recording artist Mark Blomsteel started his career 15 years ago and the famous Treasure Isle, recording studio. These very first sessions were produced by a former manager and producer of The Beach Boys and kickstarted Mark’s career.

Mark has been loyal to Treasure Isle over the years and to celebrate the 15th anniversary he decided to re-record a song from the very first session called ‘Barbed Wire’.

‘The song has always been a fan favorite and it was very special to get the master tapes out of the archives and listen to them again. It was especially cool to hear the bass parts played by the legendary

Michael Rhodes, who passed away last year’ adds Mark.

Mixing Engineer Brandon Epps: ‘Mark has grown so much over the years vocally and as an artist. The difference between the new and old vocals are night and day.’

The new version of ‘Barbed Wire’ will be available at your preferred download or streaming platform on Friday April 26.
