Hey y’all!!
I know it’s been a while since there was an update. I’ve been writing a lot of songs and am working on some other exciting things that unfortunately take time but I can’t wait to share the outcome with y’all soon!
A couple of weeks ago I posted a video on social media of me singing ‘Drops of Jupiter’ by the band Train. I’ve been a fan of the band for 20 years or so and singer Pat Monahan has always been an inspiration. Not even minutes after posting the video I got the notification @Train is following you on twitter and a message from Pat saying: ‘You sound great man!’
It was hard to believe to get a complement like that from one of my heroes. What followed was a conversation in which he invited me to meet him before his show in Washington DC.
I loved hanging out with Pat and talking about memories, experiences, careers and even family. The guy is incredibly funny and down to earth and very genuine.
Later that night Train played a show with Hall & Oates which was a lot of fun as well.
